The PTBE Vision of Brotherhood
The men's organization, as we are evolving, is a unique part of the Jewish and temple experience. Being a part of the PTBE Brotherhood brings a group of over 100 Jewish men together for many unique bonding experiences. The good will generated from a common vision of friendship, ideals, community, and commitment to Judaism and PTBE, is a vision we would like to share with the entire congregation.

Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Fireside Room (unless published notice of change)
Our typical annual activities include the following:
- Installation Dinner & Consecration
- Support of the "Promise of the Rainbow" Campaign
- Temple-wide Gala and Auction
- Ski Weekend at Lake Tahoe (always fabulous)
- S.F. Giants Game (record turnouts)
- Sponsor of Boy Scout Troop 42
- Back to Religious School Brunch (co-sponsor)
- Gift of Torah Commentary for each B'Nai Mitzvah
- High Holiday Ushering
- Financial and Tax-Wise Investing Night
- Erev Shabbat "Klezmer" Service (a not-to-miss evening)
- Jointly sponsor events with other Temple Auxiliaries
- Chinese Banquet with Guest Speaker
- Bike Ride with Rabbi Berg
- Purim Carnival Food Concession
- Yom Hashoah Candle Distribution
- Rock Climbing Outing for Teens
- Greeting Cards to Temple Members
