GREEN TEAM
CARING COMMITTEE
The Caring Committee is divided into three groups, Bereavement Support, Visiting the Homebound, and Meals.
INTERFAITH FRIENDSHIP COMMITTEE
Forming a partnership with other congregations of faith, the Interfaith Friendship Committee builds bridges and affirms our partnership and commitment to the larger community. (Formerly Civic Interfaith Outreach)
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
The Temple Beth El Membership Committee strives to provide a warm welcome to potential members and to new members. The committee endeavors to make all potential new members feel comfortable asking questions about and exploring PTBE's community, activities, worship, religious school, and other aspects of membership. The committee also seeks to provide new members with a helping hand and answering any questions they may have as the new members are integrated into our PTBE family.
SUNDAY SANDWICH HEVRE
Sunday Sandwich Hevre occurs twice a month in our Fellowship Hall and kitchen to make sack lunches for Samaritan House. Religious School families lead the group in making approximately 500 lunches consisting of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, carrots, fruit, a drink and cookies. We gladly accept donations of peanut butter and jelly, cookies or monetary donations. See the website for dates and spend a Sunday morning with us.
