The Sages of the Talmud teach us that it is our obligation to be a partner in repairing the world. Nearly 2,000 years ago, Rabbi Tarfon reminded us that "You are not required to complete the work, but neither are you free to abstain from it."
"TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE" is a program sponsored by the Community Service Committee of Peninsula Temple Beth El. It affords congregants the opportunity to give a few hours of their time to worthwhile community projects, enjoy fellowship and perform mitzvot with other temple members.
