Dinner Update: While we undergo the kitchen remodel we are unable to save any leftovers. If your child is going to arrive after 6:25, there will not be any food for them. Please plan ahead. (We are donating to a local non-profit.)
Jewish Family and Children’s Services is inviting your teen to a Career Night like no other Thursday, Mar. 15 6:00-8:00 pm! Your teen is invited to JFCS’ Youth First Career Night where he or she will get a chance to talk to successful professionals in a variety of fields, and explore the different journeys they took to get to where they are today. Wednesday, Mar. 21 6:30-8:00 pm (6:00 for dinner) - All teens, parents, and middle school students with a parent are invited to learn about some big ideas in the gun violence prevention conversation. Together, we will be reflecting on the conversations of our nation, studying Jewish text, and educating ourselves about Gun Violence prevention issues with clips from the documentary, Under The Gun. We will conclude the evening by making posters for the March for our Lives on 3/24. The schedule this evening will be:

6:30-7:40 - Reflection, Movie, and Text Study
7:40-7:55 - Poster Making
7:55-8:00 - Siyuum
Dinner will be Italian food.
An Invitation to All 6th-12th Graders - On Sunday, Mar. 25, NFTY-CWR and BBYO CRW are partnering together for a day of learning and hands-on tikkun olam here at PTBE! The afternoon of service is open to all 6th-12th graders who will be helping many organizations affected in our community. To find out more and to register, please visit this website.
PTBE & Beyond
North Peninsula Family Israel Trip - Spend December 23-January 3rd (2018-2019) exploring the sights, history, cuisine, and culture of Israel. There will also be a special opportunity for B'nai Mitzvah students to read Torah! This trip will be lead by Rabbi Lisa, facilitated by the experienced Daat Travel. There will be tracks for adults and kids alike and enough to engage both Israel experts and first timers! A full intinerary is here. “Campership” Grants Available for Jewish Summer Youth Programs - Again this year, we are supporting PTBE children and teens who wish to attend Jewish summer camps and Israel programs. Grants come from a variety of sources in the temple. All grants are need-based and made on a rolling basis, with an application deadline of March 30.
