Wednesday, Jan. 24 6:30-8:00pm (6:00 for those signed up for meals) - We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Farkas from the Jewish Teen Foundation. This is the third time (of four) Danny will be joining our high schoolers this year, each time discussing a different topic. This session will be about Charitable Giving as a Jewish Value. Dinner has been changed to Italian food.
Next session: Wednesday, Feb. 7 6:30-8:00pm - Please make sure you are on time, we are running through a mock trial! Topic will be announced upon arrival and teens will be assigned a role and given 30 minutes to prepare for the trial. We are excited to watch it come together, please be in attendance and on time.
PTBE & Beyond
San Francisco Women’s March Saturday, Jan. 20 - Join PTBE congregants Nicole Sorger and Catherine Nelson at this year’s Women’s March in San Francisco. “The Women’s March San Francisco will unite along with multiple other cities in California (and other states) to reaffirm our commitment to building a positive and just future for all, and to celebrate the spirit of resistance efforts over the past year.” Our group will meet at the Millbrae station at Northbound Platform 3 at 10:10, in order to take the 10:21 train together to the march. Make sure to arrive early to purchase BART tickets, or purchase the day before, as last year the lines were extremely long.
Register for the march here.
Email Rabbi Sara if you plan to meet up with the temple group: email@example.com
