This year we explore the theme Between Apology and Forgiveness.
Our next Movies & Midrash event will begin at *5:30pm* (NOTICE THE TIME CHANGE), featuring the 2007 movie Atonement, presenting a moving story with themes of siblings' jealousy, lies, the power of love, eventual remorse, and an attempt to apologize, questioning the limitations of asking for forgiveness.
We will learn about the movie from Roger Feigelson, watch the movie, and Aviv Siegel will lead a lively conversation about apology and forgiveness, the movie, how the movie connects to the theme, and to our lives.
The movie is about 2 hours and rated R (there are some war scenes). We will end the evening by 8:30pm.
Please register here and indicate whether you are planning to come in person or join us on zoom (link will be sent to all registrants).
