Tashlich on the Water!

Friday, September 18 at
Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City

BYO Picnic beginning at 5:30 p.m.

*Services at 6:30 p.m.

Tashlich, meaning to cast away, is a time for us to symbolically free ourselves of our negative actions and feelings from the past year by casting them into a body of water. Experience the emotional and symbolic casting away of our sins as we prepare to start the new year with a clean slate. This ritual will be a part of Erev Shabbat Services.

We’ll meet in the Amphitheatre by the lagoon along E. Hillsdale Boulevard. Congregants are encouraged to bring a blanket and picnic dinner to enjoy before services on the Hilltop. You can park on Hillsdale Boulevard. Additional public parking is available off Shell Boulevard at Foster City Park and Recreation.

*Please Note: The PTBE Yarzheit list will not be read aloud at this service. Feel free to join in at services to share a name aloud. Otherwise, your loved one’s name will be read the week after.
