PTBE TOT PROGRAMS (Age 5 and Under)
In the years before your children are ready for a formal religious education, we know how important it is to give them positive, fun and lighthearted Jewish experiences. We invite parents with young children to join us for a variety of offerings for our littlest learners (typically best for children five and under). To join our PTBE Tots email list, contact Alison Levy at alevy@ptbe.org
Shavuot Tot Shabbat & Family Picnic
Friday, June 7, 5:30 - 7:00pm
PTBE Fireside Room, Patio & Playground
Come celebrate Shabbat and the spring holiday of Shavuot with your PTBE friends, co-hosted by Jewish Baby Network. Join JBN’s Carol Booth and PTBE’s Alison Levy for singing, puppets, shakers, blessings, playtime and yummy dairy treats.
After a lively and joyful Tot Shabbat service in the Fireside Room, we’ll head out to the patio & playground for a family picnic and playtime. Pack a picnic dinner and come join the fun! PTBE will provide the challah, juice, and picnic tables. Plus wine for the grown-ups!
SHABBAT FAMILY JAM
Combining the best aspects of a Shabbat morning family service with an engaging education program, Shabbat Family Jam is an opportunity for families with young children, ages 0 - 7, to connect to Jewish life, learning, and make new friendships here at PTBE. Each session begins with a lively, interactive musical Shabbat experience with Cantor Elana and Teacher Alison. Our musical service is followed by hands-on learning and craft activities, challah and juice, and plenty of playtime on the PTBE playground.
This program is open to all. PTBE membership is not required to register!
