We are kicking off 2024 Movies & Midrash with Stand and Deliver, an American drama from 1988 selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

 We will learn about the movie from Roger Feigelson, and watch together. Following the movie we will study a related Talmudic story, share a lively discussion about education, students, and teachers, and see how the topic connects to our annual theme of Chesed.
